RB198: This is a dataset compiled by Lewis et al. 2010 as of May 2010. It contains 198 unique RNA-binding protein chains that share less than 30% sequence identity. One of the chains in this dataset, 3EX7_A, does not have any interface residues, but was included for consistency with other publications that have used RB198.

RB44: This is a dataset of RNA-binding proteins constructed by Puton et al. 2012. It contains RNA-binding protein complexes deposited in the Protein Data Bank (PDB) between January 1st and April 28th 2011. It is composed of 44 protein chains that share less than 40% sequence identity.

RB111: This is a recently compiled dataset of RNA-binding proteins. It contains RNA-binding protein complexes deposited in the Protein Data Bank (PDB) between June & December 2010 and between May 2011 & March 2014. It is composed of 111 protein chains that share less than 30% sequence identity. Protein chains in RB111 share less than 40% sequence identity with the chains in RB198 and RB44.
